I love mine, it’s my second having switched to a larger boat.

Unsinkable foam-filled
floats and GravityLock™
Sunstream’s FloatLift™ combines exceptional engineering with style and accessibility. Streamlined pontoons effortlessly support the hull in nearly any location with as little as 12 inches of water under the boat keel/skeg. Now, the convenience of Sunstream can go wherever your boat goes. Where will you take it?
Sunstream’s powerful hydraulics pull the floats under the boat in as little as 30 seconds with the remote control. Cleanly charge the DC system with AC or solar options for complete freedom. The FloatLift is always ready for fun.
Rise to the top and stay there. The Floatlift’s foam-filled polyethylene pontoons quickly lift your boat out of the water and the patented GravityLock™ designed to keep your boat safe and sound. Now it’s easier to keep your boat looking its best with clear access to your hull and prop for cleaning and maintenance. The frame is marine-grade aluminum and fitted with stainless steel hardware, so you can boat in fresh or saltwater. The cylinders are retracted and above the water when raised and zincs protect the frame like an aluminum boat. No other lift is built like a Sunstream.
Designed to set you free, the FloatLift typically needs just 12" of water under the keel or skeg and the foam filled floats can support the boat on the soft seabed even if the tide goes out. FloatLift’s low-profile floats split high waves so the lift can be used practically anywhere you would moor your boat. Powered by a solar option means you are ready for adventure anywhere.
If you’re looking to optimize your boating experience, few products will make a bigger impact than Sunstream’s SwiftShield. Lucky you, the FloatLift is the only free-floating lift that works with the Swiftshield. Additionally, the HoverCover is perfect companion to offer clean lines and protection from the elements.
Introducing the Sunstream Bluetooth® transmitter and smartphone app. Now it’s even more convenient to control your Sunstream boat lift with the remote that’s always with you. The two-way communication transfers data to and from a smartphone and the Sunstream lift, enabling the app to display the current voltage, charging status, battery health, performance data and diagnostic data, as well as provide basic Up and Down functionality. Another industry first, from the leaders in boat lift innovation.
FloatLift is a high-speed, premium free-floating hydraulic boat lift that delivers fast, reliable performance even in shallow water. It can be to a dock or mooring buoy and has unsinkable foam floats that lock under the boat in the raised position.
The powerful hydraulics of FloatLift enable your boat to be lifted or lowered in as little as 30 seconds.
Since the floats move to the side, only about 12” of water depth under the boat keel/skeg is typically required for FloatLift.
Yes, the FloatLift is designed to be used in both saltwater and freshwater. . Sacrificial zincs are required for saltwater use, like aluminum boats.
The boat is secured via foam-filled floats and an over-center locking system.
Floatlift is designed to withstand sitting on the ground in the upright position while lifting a boat when the tide goes out if the seabed is acceptable.
FloatLift batteries are powered by solar or AC charging
Yes, FloatLift can be controlled using the free Sunstream smartphone app for iPhone and Android.
FloatLift may be tied to a dock or mooring buoy.
Yes, the FloatLift floats may be walked on but it is important the floats are not overloaded or near being submerged since this can make the lift unstable, potentially leading to bodily harm.
FloatLift has proven itself over the decades to handle rough seas, since the low profile floats are designed to split the waves, vs ride over them. Your boat on a FloatLift will handle the waves on the lift much better than on its own. The rule of thumb is that if you think the conditions are good enough for your boat to handle them, then it is probably acceptable for the FloatLift. If you have your boat off the lift for an extended period, such as an offseason, it is best practice to take your lift out of the water as well to reduce wear and tear.
It is not recommended to store a boat on any lift during a hurricane.
Inspect all dock lines securing FloatLift and replace worn or questionable lines. Use additional tie points and redundant dock lines. Ensure that you have adequate fendering between the Floatlift and the dock. Keep the powerpack in a place where it will stay out of the water. Ensure that the Powerpack is secured with lag bolts, or taken off the dock.
If you must keep your boat on FloatLift during a storm, high-wave or rough water conditions, in addition to following the recommendations above to secure FloatLift, these additional
steps can be taken to safeguard your boat as much as possible. Ensure that the boat is loaded properly with the waterline even on the floats from front to rear.
Tie the boat securely to the frame of Floatlift – Bow and stern. Remove all canvas, enclosures, bimini tops, or any other items that will put additional wind load on the boat.
When reloading the boat afterwards, please be sure that the boat is not holding excess water or any other debris that might add weight or increase lift capacity requirements beyond range.
Please note that hurricanes, severe weather, and other environmental conditions are considered Acts of God. Damage resulting from these conditions—including damage to the lift and/or vessel is not covered under warranty and remains solely the responsibility and discretion of the property owner.
